How one coach’s side project became the next layer of the Trainerize platform:

In 2022, an ABC Trainerize customer named Xenios Charalambous was running his own coaching business and running into the same wall many coaches hit: there just weren’t enough hours in the day. So, he built an AI system on top of ABC Trainerize to handle the parts of the job that ate his time without moving the needle for his clients. Check-ins got reviewed automatically. Macros adjusted themselves based on real progress. Routine client conversations got a first response before he ever opened the app.

It worked so well that other ABC Trainerize coaches wanted it too. Xenios started selling access to his system under the name FitMetrics, and it grew from one coach’s workaround into a real business built by coaches, for coaches. We watched that growth closely, and the more we saw, the more obvious it became: FitMetrics wasn’t just a useful addition to ABC Trainerize, it was the next layer we wanted to build toward ourselves.

Today, we’re delighted to share that ABC Fitness has acquired FitMetrics, and Xenios has joined the ABC Trainerize team. FitMetrics is now available as a paid add-on for every ABC Trainerize customer.

What FitMetrics does

FitMetrics takes the manual, repetitive parts of running a coaching business and hands them to AI, so the time you get back goes straight back into coaching.

AI check-ins and messaging.
When a client checks in, FitMetrics drafts a reply using that client’s actual data, not a generic template. You review and adjust before anything sends, so the message still reflects your judgment and where that client actually stands.

AI meal and nutrition analysis.
Clients snap a photo of a meal and get an instant macro breakdown, logged straight to their ABC Trainerize meal history.

Smart Views and compliance tracker.
See every client’s status at a glance instead of opening each profile individually. A growing roster becomes something you can review in minutes, with any conversation just a click away.

Team visibility and compliance.
Studio and multi-coach teams get a single inbox view across every coach-client conversation, keeping quality consistent across the team rather than dependent on what one person can track
alone.

Put together, these tools are built to help any coaching business run more efficiently, whether that’s a solo coach confidently managing more clients without adding hours to the day, or a larger studio or team streamlining operations without adding headcount. Either way, every client still gets guidance that feels personal and built around their own progress.

How to get it

FitMetrics is built on top of ABC Trainerize, using your existing data as well as the ABC Trainerize coaching app, so there’s no separate account or new app for your clients to learn. If you already have a ABC Trainerize account, open the web app and visit the FitMetrics page to start a trial. If you’re new to ABC Trainerize, purchase a paid ABC Trainerize plan first, then head to the FitMetrics page inside the app to add it on.

What’s next

FitMetrics joining ABC Trainerize is just the start of a bigger transformation of ABC Trainerize into something much better, giving coaches back time from the work that doesn’t need a human touch so they can spend more of it coaching. Xenios has joined our team and is now helping build the future of ABC Trainerize, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
