We're looking for a B2B Growth Marketing Manager to join our team to look after the largest segment of our business: Fitness professionals and Coaches (a.k.a. The “Pro segment”). This segment is made up of solopreneurs and independent coaches (fitness, nutrition, lifestyle etc.)—fitness pros of all levels are looking to accelerate their personal training revenues by adopting fitness technology. And we help them do it!
Now for a little about the role:
As an integral part of the Marketing team, the Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing powerful integrated campaigns that grow brand awareness, penetration, and engagement among our Pro segment accounts as well as target accounts. This high-visibility, target-supporting role will be responsible for influencing new Pro top of the funnel account generation, accelerating existing opportunities, and driving customer growth within the segment.
To make that happen, you'll get to know our market, customer segments, and product inside and out, then turn that knowledge into innovative Pro angles, and KPI-driven tactics and campaigns.
This role is located in Vancouver, BC, and reports to the Director of Growth Marketing.
A more detailed look at your key responsibilities:
Go-to-market and growth strategies
- Support the creation and execution of the Pro segment growth strategy that supports Trainerize's Pro team, funnel goals, and revenue targets.
- Develop, implement, measure and optimize digital campaigns across multiple channels, identifying and executing on opportunities for optimization or experimentation. Deliver progress updates and performance reports regularly to marketing and growth stakeholders, tracking program performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Execute the Pro segment go-to-market plan (Pro GTM): create and implement Pro-focused marketing campaigns, own Pro industry messaging, and leverage the Trainerize product releases for Pro segment growth.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Adoption team to support and champion a product-led growth strategy.
- Engage with our Product Marketing and Brand teams to manage ad-hoc, co-marketing programs for Pro-persona accounts.
Product, persona, and industry research
- Work with our Product Marketing team to understand buyer profiles, journeys, pain points, and personas within new target accounts and existing customers.
- Become deeply familiar with both the most common and potentially overlooked use cases for our product, the way our customers currently use it, and how they might wish to use it.
- Understand the buyer and the end-user inside out. Build detailed buyer personas. Be the expert on your buyers: their wants and needs, how they buy, and their buying criteria. Be the expert on your end-users and how they use your product. Act as 'the voice of the customer' across all functions (i.e., product management, sales, marketing).
- Strive to continuously deliver industry, market. and product insights to support product roadmap/positioning, campaign development, and other relevant areas and company growth.
- Collaborate with our customer success and product teams to produce impactful collateral, feature messaging, and assets.
Content, events, and partnerships
- Collaborate with content writers and brand team members to support the development of pro segment facing content in a variety of formats, including blog articles, guides, cheat sheets, webinars, tutorials, videos, digital tools, etc.
- Identify opportunities to reach Pro-persona accounts through speaking engagements, cross-promotional campaigns, and partnerships. Develop presentations, talking points, and slide decks to execute on these opportunities.
- Produce inspiring customer stories (case studies) and testimonials that highlight our customers' success and look for opportunities to leverage them as part of the marketing funnel where appropriate and effective
- Create impactful thought leadership content pieces by researching relevant topics for particular personas, including pieces on the gym industry, health, digital fitness, mobile tech, and wearables.
- Collaborate with our Brand Marketing team on PR opportunities to highlight our Pro accounts.

- You have a proven track record of scaling high-impact, multi-channel go-to-market efforts for B2B.
- You have excellent communication skills and an unrivaled ability to present complex concepts or material to both technical teams and customers in a way that relates to or speaks directly to the audience in question.
- You'd describe yourself as having a strategic, analytical, and data-driven mindset.
- Your work ethic, time-management skills, and ability to multitask are things to be admired, and you're comfortable juggling multiple projects on an ongoing basis, pivoting and reprioritizing as needed.
- You're internally motivated and goal-oriented; some might even describe you as competitive, and you think ‘game on’ when you're handed a target to achieve or a problem to solve.
- You're incredibly resourceful and pride yourself on finding solutions even when there is no clear path. Starting from scratch and building new processes isn't scary to you—it's exciting!
- You're an excellent team player with strong attention to detail who sees feedback as an opportunity to identify your blind spots, grow, and achieve amazing results. You're never afraid to lend your expertise or to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.
- You're comfortable with technology, and can pick up new platforms, tools, and features quickly.
Skills and experience:
- 3-7 years of prior B2B product marketing/management experience in the technology/software space (or equivalent skills and knowledge)
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited university or college in a relevant or supporting field
- Comfortable with basic data analysis, tracking and reporting activities and results, and navigating a spreadsheet
- Able to design and create graphics (while we have an in-house designer who can help with more creative or larger projects, we move really fast so being able to mix and match, edit, and create graphics for smaller campaigns is a must)
- Proficient with Photoshop, Figma, Hubspot, Salesforce, MixPanel, Asana
- A background that includes marketing of SMB software products, fitness, lifestyle, health, SaaS, or technology
- A background or interest in fitness. (Nice to have!)

- Ideally based in Vancouver, Canada.
- Rest of Canada also OK (Contract-based)
