FAQs

A Custom Branded App (CBA) is a white-label mobile app. This essentially means that we take the ABC Trainerize app (and all its cool features) and customize it to reflect your branding. Based on the app level, different levels of customizations are available.

We offer three levels of custom branded app tiers to accompany your subscription plan. Each tier has a different level of branding and customization available. Click here to see what is included in each tier.

We work with businesses of all types to deliver custom branded apps! However, because our Studio and Enterprise-level custom branded apps require you to have an Apple Developer Account, there are a few additional business requirements. Your business will require a D-U-N-S number and MUST be recognized as a legal entity (e.g., corporation, limited partnership, or limited liability company) to enter into the legal terms and obligations of Apple Developer Program agreements. DBAs, fictitious businesses, trade names, and branches are not accepted.

LLC stands for Limited Liability Company and is one type of legal entity. Because our Studio and Enterprise-level custom branded apps require you to have an Apple Developer Account, your business MUST be recognized as a legal entity (e.g., corporation, limited partnership, or limited liability company) to enter into the legal terms and obligations of Apple Developer Program agreements. DBAs, fictitious businesses, trade names, and branches are not accepted.

Studio and Enterprise-level apps are INCLUDED with your ABC Trainerize subscription! They do, however, require you to have your own Apple Developer Account which is currently priced at $99USD/year charged directly by Apple. The Pro-level CBA costs a one-time fee of $169USD in addition to your monthly subscription price.

To purchase a Pro CBA, follow the steps here. For Studio and Enterprise CBAs, get started by enrolling in the Apple Developer Program (if you haven't already). Read more about the process and requirements to get a white-label Studio or Enterprise-level app by heading here.

There are two key factors that determine how quickly your custom branded app is ready: the level of app you purchase (Pro, Studio, or Enterprise) and approval time from Apple and/or Google as every app must be approved. For Studio and Enterprise-level apps, the average turnaround time is 4 weeks once we have everything we need (dependent on quality of assets, your response time, and Apple/Google approval time).

Yes! Following the release of a new version of ABC Trainerize, we update all of our custom branded apps. If you are using a Studio or Enterprise-level app, it is your responsibility to ensure your Apple Developer Account is in good standing to get the latest updates (i.e. your annual membership has been paid and all recent or revised policies have been agreed to).
